Chapter 1 Lina S.Inverse
The next thing i knew I felt like Mike Tyson just gave me an uppercut , head spinning , and mind blank...and an entirely different image greeted me.
".. you there ? ... hey, come on ! " There was this pair of huge glasses infront of my eyes the moment I got a hold of myself. A woman, with a rather clear and loud voice (like my mum) is standing infront of me,seemingly to be trying to make me do something in frustration. She looked like your typical Office Lady (OL) except for the almost too werid-to-be-true glasses, and her grandiose bow-tie.
Still dazed by what ever happened, I looked around my surroundings to verify if I had been playing too much of Legends of Crystalia Online. A room, much like the office that my dad sits in, brightly lit with a desk in the middle, and a seat behind, 2 infront. The only thing that doesnt fit in would be the bookshelf at the side, which was dark brown in color and filled with books, somehow i cant take help but feel strangely allured to it. Out of the windows, I see a bustling city view, tons of people walking in the sunny afternoon.
DAY-TIME?! Waa? Tell me I did NOT get teleported...
"isnt it 3 am now? Why is it so bright out there? Who are you? Is this a hospital? no that cant be , is this the doctor's room? how long have I passed out? Is my Mum here? "
Flustered and confused questions sprang out of me , as I desperately tried to figure out what is going on. I was supposed to go for the NUA open house the next day.
" *AHEMMM* I believe you are awake long enough to realise that this is no dream. What you see here is real. And yes, that includes the place that you are standing on right now. Welcome to Sylvan , I am the Admissions Officer , Lina S.Inverse. *pauses* Once you're ready I shall brief you about the situation. I guess you would like to know more, wouldnt you?"
Huh?! Confused and overwhelmed, I continued to listen to her briefing. The Admissions Officer looks to be in her late 20s. She looks like a typical Office Lady (OL) except for the almost too werid-to-be-true glasses, and her grandiose bow-tie. A rather attractive woman, ableit her poor/werid fashion sense for assessories She had a pretty face, but what catches my eye most is her bright-red hair. It seems to .. glow.. and sparkle ...?
Anyway, in the briefing that followed..this was what she told me :
1)I was sent here by a SPELLwhich in the first place was not supposed to happen.
2)Sylvan is an invite-only accademy for all in the world.
3)Magic is studied here.(Yes it does exist.)
4)There was somehow a system error that allows me to access the webpage at night.
5)It is a Top-secrect location which normal civilians are not supposed to know.
6)Sylvan is not on the world map,it is a floating city.
" That cant be... its impossible, please just tell me where I am so that I can take a train home."
Seeing my dis-belief Lina S. Inverse sighed heavily and mutters something softly.
"I guess the fastest way to make you realize that you should take things seriously is ... "
Her hair , which I have been suspecting was glowing all the while burst into a bright scorching amber, much like burning coal, with cinders fizzing out of her..
" .. Lets wait for Leon, I mean The Deen to see how we can resolve this leak of information amicably, Shall we?" she smiled.
Petrified by the series of events and realizing that all this might be true, I managed to force a meek smile back at her, not daring to utter another word.
My name is **** Im a 18 year-old finishing his high-school and currently looking for a suitable University. Since I wanted to study abroad I had been looking through most of the renowned institutions until I saw Sylvan's website. Somehow even though it is 3am on a Sunday morning in my bedroom, I see a monster of a woman with the day-light filling up the room that we're in through that window. Dear Mom, Dad & Sister .. for the first time, I miss Home.

I know that answer. Sylvan means "of the forest" it should be wood. But since wood elemental is not a true element, and somehow I guess this site is done by some english dude, (wood is an element in chinese culture) the correct answer should be....
